Jacobis Collaborates with Xurya to Install Rooftop Solar Power Plant in Surabaya

PT Jadi Abadi Corak Biscuit (Jacobis), one of the business units of Khong Guan Group, has taken strategic steps in supporting environmental sustainability by collaborating with PT Xurya Daya Indonesia (Xurya) to install a Rooftop Solar Power Plant (PLTS) at their factory in Surabaya.
This Rooftop PLTS installation has a capacity of 1.2 MWp and is estimated to reduce carbon emissions by up to 1,200 tons per year. This step is in line with Khong Guan Group's commitment to implementing sustainable and environmentally friendly business practices.
"Collaboration with Xurya is part of the implementation of our corporate social responsibility program in supporting clean energy transition in Indonesia. In addition to reducing environmental impact, this Rooftop PLTS will also help efficiency of factory operational costs in the long term," explained the General Manager of Jacobis.
The installation of Rooftop PLTS at the Surabaya factory is a pioneer in the Indonesian snack food industry and is expected to inspire other companies to also contribute to renewable energy programs.
