Launched in 2022, the program has run for three consecutive years, reflecting the company’s steadfast commitment to nurturing young Indonesian football talent. The Culmination of the Superco Million Balls Journey
Following the successful Superco Super Camp at Maguwoharjo Football Park, Yogyakarta, on Sunday, November 10, 2024, the Superco Million Balls for Indonesia program reached its culmination with the Superco Superfest 2024, a national soccer competition for youth ages 10, 11, and 12, on Sunday, November 17, 2024.
The prestigious tournament took place in a football field of Semarang State University (UNNES) and was attended by 36 Soccer Schools (SSBs) from various regions across Indonesia .They came from various provinces, including Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Yogyakarta, and East Kalimantan.
This competition served not only as a talent search but also as a learning platform where young players learned about teamwork, sportsmanship, game tactics, and mental toughness in the face of competition.
The Three Main Pillars of the Superco Million Balls Program
Superco Goes to School: This program provides soccer development in schools in Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) and other major cities in Indonesia.Designed for junior high school (SMP) students, it introduces foundational soccer techniques and fosters early interest in the sport.
Superco Supercamp: An intensive training for selected young talents from various schools. Supercamp provides more in-depth and structured training, involving experienced soccer coaches such as Coach Ricky Nelson and Coach Indrianto Nugroho.
Superco Superfest: This is a soccer competition for 10, 11, and 12-year-olds, featuring teams from various provinces. This event is an important platform for discovering talented young players ready to contribute to the world of Indonesian soccer.
Collaborating with National Football Icons
One of the key strengths of the One Million Superco Balls program is its collaboration with inspirational figures from Indonesia’s football community.
